To be certain that life isn’t just “three score years and ten” of existence followed by timeless oblivion that renders the existence almost meaningless…. Isn’t that what we’d all like to know? For Christians, the symbol of the cross and the message of Easter is a reminder that Jesus Christ, God’s son, died on a cross 2000 years ago to offer us forgiveness and eternal life. To offer us the gift of a new start and a relationship with him that starts now and lasts beyond our death.
